Ford windshield wiper recall

In cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, Ford motor company recently issued the recall of 224,000 vehicles equipped with defective windshield wipers. According to the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration, these vehicles' windshield wiper motors were made without the application of grease to the output shaft gear. No accidents or injuries have been reported in relation to this vehicle defect. The vehicles equipped with defective windshield wipers include 2006 models of the Ford Escape, Expedition, F-150, Explorer, Ranger, Mark LT, Taurus, Mountaineer, and Mariner.
